“Killing Veerappan”: Movie Review

The much awaited Kannada film ‘Killing Veerappan’ is hit theater today on 1st January. The year 2016 starts with this Crime Thriller which is directed by one of the best movie director Ram Gopal Varma. The movie is slated to release universally on 01st January 2016.

Couple of week ago theatrical trailer of the movie was out with positive response from the public. Shivaraj Kumar, Sandeep Bharadwaj, Yagna  Shetty, Sanchari Vijay, Parul Yadav are playing lead roles in the movie. Apart from Kannada the film will be release in some other regional languages too including Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.

Picturization of the movie is very well. The music has been composed by Ravi Shankar and Sai Karthik which is highlight of the movie. The Sandalwood superstar Shivaraj Kumar has acted very well in role of Senthamarai Kannan.

The movie is based on real life story of the smuggler Veerappan. The storyline completely deals with the Veerappan’s life history, that is, how he is managed to form his own crime Kingdom, how he dealt with it.

Climax and scenes of the movie directed up to the mark. Moreover Shivraj’s performance is like “Cherry On Cake”.

The film has received a good feedback from audience. The fans also give thumbs up to the movie. It is expected to collect Rs 6 Cr and more on its first day as per box office presumptions.
